Wanting to photograph my finds of last week, I realized that my reflex camera worked very poorly .... After several tests, I can say this is the lens which has a problem.... :(

Old town

After a great Friday night concert, we spent two days with family at Le Mans. Sunday, the sunny weather was back. Perfect for walking around the old town to enjoy the beautiful medieval architecture. I already posted pictures of this place two years ago here.

In a shop window I saw the perfect earrings for Easter......   ;)

Tonight go to the south of Normandy for a Stephan Eicher show.

I've seen him twice and each time, his concerts were great.

I hope it will be nice tonight!

Purple

Purple is a rare color at home. I searched and this is what I found.

1 - Box/metal shelf for storing masking tapes.

2 & 3 - An Indian sari.

4 - Crocuses.

5 - A handmade fabrics brought back from Japan.

Jappeloup

This afternoon we saw a (french) movie that I waited impatiently: Jappeloup.

This film tells the story of the wonderful jumping horse, Jappeloup and rider Pierre Durand. They won the gold medal at the Seoul Olympics in 1988. This story reminded me a lot of memories of my teens when I watched this horse and rider to the TV. I think I had a poster of this horse in my room :)

A beautiful film (not only for those who love horses & jumping), wonderful images, and good actors (Guillaume Canet, Daniel Auteuil,...).
