autumn stroll

We regularly do bike rides along the Loire. I already posted almost the same photos I think... my daughter and her bike were just much smaller :)

Cold arrived last Saturday but when the weather is sunny, it's not a problem for me.

I'll try to post more regularly if not, I am afraid that this blog will not survive!

Festival

Every year I post pictures of the festival (Terres du Son) where I have volunteered.

So here again!

I have seen several concerts but none really got me excited. I enjoyed the French singer Izia and also Jeanne Added. But I was a bit disappointed of the two concerts I expected more: The Dø and The Ting Tings ... I found they had done their job but no more.

Maybe it will be better next year!

corner view / tradition

I decided to show you pictures of these particular houses of my region (Loire valley). These are the troglodytic houses. This architectural tradition dates of very long time and there is still a lot of this type of house in the limestone cliffs on the banks of rivers.

corner view / good memories

Not easy to choose a photo reminding me of good memories ... I have plenty! 

As I didn't want to make a post with 300 photos or more... I chose only one.

My daughter, when she was 5 years old, it was the end of summer,

at the Pagoda of Chanteloup (near Amboise city in Loire valley).

the next day

You will begin to think we always stroll in the same place (I recently posted pictures of this place...). After a rainy Christmas, the sun came out so we enjoyed it. It feels good to walk after eating (a little too). Today, rain and wind again ... a perfect weather to go to the cinema.
