Monday trip 18: Southern Brittany in France

This week, come in the south of Brittany, the Gâvres peninsula.

It's a quiet and nice place. The perfect place if you don't want to be bothered by tourists during the summer... especially if the weather is not very nice ... as was the case for us ;)

It's really a beautiful region.

Warm afternoon

Walk this afternoon under sunny. It was quite warm.

My daughter could not resist putting her feet in water.

It was a beautiful Mother's Day.

After dinner, I made a little walk on the side of the river where water is scarce. Pleasant and quiet. Have a nice sunday. Tomorrow is the day of Mother's Day.

Finally, this topic reminds me of the movie I saw last night: "The tree of life".

It's a surprising and delicate film talking about the trials of life and spirituality.

The movie pictures are really beautiful.

This film took the Palme d'Or at the Festival of Cannes (France): it's justified.

Monday trip 17: Le Grand Pressigny

For this Monday Trip, here are some photos from yesterday. We went to visit the Museum of Archeology of Le Grand Pressigny. This museum is located in the old fortress of Le Grand Pressigny. In this museum, we discover life in the region since the Paleolithic to the Bronze Age. There is also a section with the silex. It's an small interesting museum and very well presented.

It's a shame, during our visit, the weather was not very nice but it changed just after.

After purchasing and installing a shelf for my daughter's room: big cleaning and reorganization. It was really necessary ...

Next step, change the color of the walls ... but it will be later, much later :)
