Corner view: change

In one room, there was wallpaper with the singers of the 80s! So vintage...but we have teared off this lovely wallpaper. The wooden chimney was painted and imitated marble...we sanded it!

To illustrate this theme, I could shoot the whole house! Everything has changed since we bought it in 2005. All wallpapers were brown ... or purple. The wall tiled was beige or ... brown! In the yard, there was only gravel, not a single plant. Now it's just the jungle with bamboo (I have absolutely cut them a little before the fall).

Corner View: passion

My lifelong passion: horses.

I don't know why ... one of my cousins put me on a horse when I was 3 years old... this may be the reason! During adolescence, there were lots of posters of horses on the walls of my room.

On this photo, I must have 16 or 17 and I am with the horse that I liked a lot. His name was Kassius and it was a French Trotter. He was reformed from trotting races because he didn't pass the speed test. I am not surprised because this horse galloped too well!

Corner View: homeplace

Pictures of my "homeplace", the theme of this week.

Where I live now is quite urban. Sometimes (only summer) I would like to live closer to the countryside but during winter, I prefer to be near downtown.

Fortunately I have a mini garden around my house

where we can eat, appetizers and a nap :)

This is my little green bubble!

But it's true that the best "homeplace" is to live with those we love.

Then, the place has almost no importance.

Painting

Many paint. A long time ago I wanted to repaint the cabinet that was covered with an old varnish. It was not pretty with gray wall of the room. That's it, done!

Another painting: the front door. We painted the door in red 4 years ago but the paint has faded a lot and became almost pink ... So it was time to get to work. No change, I painted red again. I chose a new brand of paint, I hope it will be more resistant...
