outdated sewing

This is what my daughter and my husband told me when (very proud of myself) I showed them the cushion that I had just sewing ....

Ok, this cushion will be just mine :(

Big bag

After much sweat and effort (don't laugh ...), my big bag is finished! I use it to carry all my riding stuff. I thought the oilcloth would be a good solution to fight against mud and dust :) Voilà !

Après beaucoup d'efforts et de transpiration (si, si, ne riez pas...), mon maxi sac est terminé ! Je m'en servirai pour transporter tout mon bazar d'équitation. Et c'est pour cette raison que j'ai voulu le faire en toile cirée (ou toile enduite plus exactement). Boue et poussière seront plus faciles à nettoyer...enfin je l'espère ! Voilà !

Désolée pour les photos, mais il fait tellement sombre aujourd'hui qu'il est impossible de faire une photo correcte :)

Fast sewing

I had a desire to sewing this afternoon! So I made ​​a nightdress for my daughter with a fabric full of hearts ... I had some technical problems with the sleeves  (it was the first time I sewed the sleeves...).That's why I didn't make close-up shots ;)

Sewing is back!

Pillow dress for my daughter made ​​last sunday. She chose the fabrics: pink flowers.

I like  sewing this type of clothing: it's quick and easy! Perfect for me ;)

Busy saturday

Today, the sun was back. Busy day: shopping (sales...), cinema (Arrietty: great!), sewing and cooking. Sewing fast and simple : disguise. A fairy/dancer skirt :-)  See you soon!

First dress

Here is the finished dress, my first dress! As I'm discovering sewing, it was a big experience! The style is simple so I sew it quickly. Some details are not perfect... Luckily, my daughter likes it ("especially the fox and the rabbits", she told me), that's the main thing!

Some photos from yesterday afternoon: tea and sewing ... Quiet moment. I try to sew a dress for my daughter. The style is simple because I am a real beginner.I'll finish it tomorrow and I'll try to make a picture.

Sewing & reading

Big day: I tested my sewing machine to sew an apron!

I start with something simple because it's the first time I do that (the sewing machine was my christmas present...). Finally, I am very happy and even a little proud ;-)

And after this 'event': reading. In fact, the first one was a book for children (I like very much children book...)! This book looks like paper lace. It's so beautiful.

The second book is more serious but I'm just starting to read it. I enjoy these moments because I have the ironing to do this evening... :-(

Finally, I write in english (thank you for the encouragement!). It's still the best solution to improve my english language and to connect with people from different countries too.
