In June, 5 years ago I was in Sweden for the first time.
In June, a year ago, I returned to Sweden for the second time!
And not for the last time ... I hope ;)

Need colors

I'm tired of this winter that looks like a gray and wet fall. I take almost no photos at this time. So I searched among my photos and I found these pictures taken on the Sandhamn island (Stockholm archipelago) last May.
These colors and brightness make me feel good...

More photos of Sandhamn here (a little less bright) ...

book & movie

I was thrilled to read this book Viveca Sten (La reine de la Baltique /  I de lugnaste vatten) because the story takes place on Sandhamn island where I went last May. Reading the book, I recognized a lot of places where I walked... fun! This detective novel was very nice, you can read it ;)

Initially, I was not very excited to see this french movie ("Les garçons et Guillaume, à table"). But many people said it was a very good movie so I went. I have no regrets because I had a great time. This film is full of emotion, laughter and modesty too.

Do you know Sandhamn?

Back in Sweden, maybe because I am very hot today ...
you're going to think I always complain ... (this is a French specialty ...).
Sandhamn is located in the archipelago of Stockholm (2 and a half hours by boat). There is a small village where a hundred people live all year. There are also plenty of holiday cabins which are well integrated into the landscape.
So here are some pictures of my first day at Sandhamn. The weather was cool and the sky was gray. I walked along the beach and in the forest too. It was absolutely quiet and I didn't see anyone! I enjoyed this quiet time. Luckily I had brought several good books ;)
