Monday trip 36: Finland

Here are some pictures of a place that we enjoyed a lot during our holidays in Finland (summer 2010). It was in Lomamokkila (10 km from Savonlinna) a B&B farm. There was absolute quiet. To reach the lake we had to cross a small forest of fir and birch.

Along this lake there were a few wooden houses and sauna. Everything was quiet and relaxing. In France most people think of lake water is still cold in Finland. Not at all!

I would have liked to stay longer there to enjoy the sweetness of this place.

The food was cooked by the owner and was delicious.

Well, a very good memory!

Some pictures of my office where I come to hang the work of art that I had won on the blog of Anna. I am very happy with the result.

I think it's the only place in the house where there is no mess... Works continue in the kitchen. Today, I oiled the beech work surface. I must continue...

Corner view: whatever tickles your fancy...

This little notebook is a good example of fancy. Inside, there are only pictures of various walls where you can write, draw, scribble what you want, what's going through your head (which is not necessarily very interesting and brilliant!). But it's nice :)

I 'lent' a few pages to my daughter who also wanted to draw her own fancy!

Monday trip 34: Paris

I went to Paris last Wednesday to meet Maria and her lovely daughter. It was really nice. We walked and chatted a lot ... a bit difficult for me with my bad English ;)
