First dress

Here is the finished dress, my first dress! As I'm discovering sewing, it was a big experience! The style is simple so I sew it quickly. Some details are not perfect... Luckily, my daughter likes it ("especially the fox and the rabbits", she told me), that's the main thing!

Next cartoon

I want to go to cinema to see Arrietty. I love cartoons from the Ghibli Studio, because the imaginary of these films are surprising and poetic. Maybe my favourite is Totoro... but I don't know, I can't make my choice!

Tea & sewing

 

 

Some photos from yesterday afternoon: tea and sewing ... Quiet moment. I try to sew a dress for my daughter. The style is simple because I am a real beginner.I'll finish it tomorrow and I'll try to make a picture.

Today...

...I had to work a little this morning :( finally the weekend began around noon. After some food shopping  and a family meal, we went to downtown for shopping. I was very reasonable because I just bought a piece of fabric. I don't know yet what I'm going to make with it. Then, we went home to cook lasagnas, one of the favourite meals of my daughter. The weather was rainy and the photos I took  in the car are strange because there were mist and droplets on the windows. It almost looks like special effects! Only 'almost' I said ;)

Friday music

It's friday, soon the weekend so a little music will be good! I'll try to upload one video per week about singers or bands I like (Li+Belle  has influenced me!). I hope it will not bore you ;) Have a good weekend, dear readers!

Day One

Eve evening was good. We shared a nice meal with friends. Here is our menu: Cocktail (sparkling white wine + lemon + sugar cane +Cointreau), savory appetizer and toast, chicken tagine with lemons and olives, tiramisu and champagne at midnight.

Today, a walk was necessary! My daughter did the scooter (it was one of her christmas gift). The weather was sad but not too cold. We were happy to come home for tea and read a good book in peace. The holiday will end soon... it's a shame...
